Annette Page: Tribute to a Ballerina

A special celebration of the life of one of The Royal Ballet's beloved Principal dancers.

Background

This celebration of the life of Annette Page, who died of motor neurone disease in December 2017, features interviews, archive films and memories, as well as current Company dancers performing a specially-curated programme of divertissements.

Page was a Principal with The Royal Ballet from 1958 to 1967, and the programme will include performances of famous solos and pas de deux associated with her as well as the world premiere of a pas de deux that Andrew McNicol has created for the occasion and the pas de deux from The Merry Widow, choreographed by Ronald Hynd, her dancing partner and husband of 60 years.
