I thought that Sweet Violets was superb and just such wonderful dancing by Leanne Cope.
To be blunt I thought the music was the best part of Carbon Life. The music was excellent and luckily it distracted from the dancing!! I am not homophobic but I was concerned about the very young age of of the boy dancing particularly in the kissing scene. I was totally underwhelmed with key point ie the dancing. Sorry this one simply did not work for me

Sweet Violets surely marks Liam Scarlett as a choreographer with a great future.A wonderfully dark piece of work danced superbly by all and I can't wait to see it again.

  4. Liam Scarlett is so incredibly talented and I really can't wait to see what he dances or choreographs next. He's so inspirational! To be so young and to be so successful it's amazing. I truely do love Liam:) Liam your my favorite male choreograoher and male dancer to see ever! Your brilliant keep up the good work. This was kind of long my apologies I'm a writer:)

We saw the triple bill on Saturday April 14th. Carbon life was good but the live music really made it. Highlight of the evening was Sweet Violets. Absolutely amazing! How wonderful that the Royal Ballet have such a young and gifted choreographer who can actually convey a story through dance. Can't wait to see what he does next.
